Then, search for the Linksys’ web or IP address in the browser’s URL space to access the Linksys extender login portal. 

Now, enter the username and password of your Linksys extender and click on the Sign-in button. As a consequence, you will be redirected by the browser on the Linksys wifi extender setup page. Choose the network from there, insert its password, and click on the Extend button. In this way, the setup process will be complete. 

App Setup For Extender

If you are not accessible to the web portal in any circumstances then try the final setup method. For this process, use your smartphone either Android or iOS, and launch its app store to get the app. Search for the Linksys WiFi app there and choose the official one to install on that device. 

  • Once you are done with the app installation, open it and click on the terms and conditions.
  • Thereafter, access the login window and enter the username and password there in the right sequence.
  • In the next step, go to the setup window and choose the network from the list.

Relocate The Extender

After completing the setup process, you must change its placement to get better WiFi coverage at your place. So, just unplug the extender and move it to that area where you are facing WiFi dead spots to clear them. But, try to place it at the center of your house and two feet above the ground floor.
