Dead Wire is still the only ammo mod that makes Megatons take more damage, so it can still be useful on some maps, but it isn’t nearly as strong as it used to be.

Shatter Blast

Shatter Blast is a skill that was added after the game came out. Each bullet has a chance to explode for extra damage and to destroy all armor it hits. So, it’s perfect when you have to deal with a large group of armored zombies in later rounds or Panzers in Outbreak.

With Elemental Pop tier 2, Cryofreeze can be used every 0.8 seconds and works every other shot with an SMG or assault rifle or every bullet with shotguns and shooters. It also has the shortest cooldown time of all the skills.

Cryofreeze also freezes and slows down any enemy, even special foes. The ammo mod also gives you ten extra points every time you slow down a zombie, does more damage to frozen zombies, helps with camo challenges, and is a great way to keep zombies under control and handle them. Brain Rot Is The Best Ammo Mod In Cold War Zombies

Brain Rot has been a common choice since Spacebar Clicker first came out. It turns zombies against each other, so they immediately start killing other zombies. Since each brain-rotted zombie usually kills four to seven other zombies, you only need to turn five or six zombies to finish the round. This is helpful if your guns aren’t very good or you need to save ammo.

But what makes Brain Rot the best ammo mod in Cold War Zombies is the tier four update, which lets you turn enemies who are not elite but are special. This means that Manglers, Mimics, and Tempests will soon be fighting for you, which is useful and awesome. Brain-rotted zombies will then explode when they die, turning three close enemies into zombies and setting off a huge chain reaction.
